Refresh with Charles

Tutorial on how to refresh links with Charles. Thanks to Rvltr for pointing me to this first. Example is the sentmats glitch which is patched now - so it will not work right now, this is only a tutorial how to generally refresh links with Charles!

Ask for materials ingame:

or use this form to ask for any mats and get to the following screen. Ask an alt for materials:

Then log into your alt, look for the request. Open Charles and then click accept and play:

Now find your sendmats-link in your address bar:

Copy and save this link to a textfile for later (if you want to send more mats you can use it again). Exchange the part gift=woodenboard to any material you need. Working: nail, woodenboard, brick, vehiclepart, wateringcan, smoker, beeswax, horseshoe, harness, blanket, bottle. (Update: method patched now.)

You could just refresh the link at this point pressing F5 to send unlimited mats. But we want to do it much quicker with Charles, so look for the link in Charles in folder "apps.facebook.com " like in the following screenshot, rightclick it and choose "Repeat Advanced...":

Then set iterations (number of repeats) and concurrency (repeats per second; don't set this too high it will get facebook to show a warning; i usually set it to 3):

Click ok. Charles starts to refresh and  - if you unchecked "Show results in new Session" - you see the following screen. Note that you can also stop recording (button with little red circle) if you have many repeats, say, more than hundred:

If you turned off recording you won't see what Charles is doing, but it does repeat nevertheless. Turn it on again anytime to see if it's finished. Turn of recording is not needed when you only send lower numbers, but if you want to repeat hundreds of times there will be problems with the cache if you leave it on.

Wait till Charles is finished, then log out of your account, log back into your main and see all items in your giftbox.
